Situated on the edge of the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District and founded by Glyn Bramley, Duffield Decorators has become a well known and well respected business in the Derbyshire area with over 30 years experience.

Bringing together in equal measure, old and new techniques, tried and trusted methods, along with the use of the latest modern materials keeps this company one step ahead of its competitors.

Since graduating from decorating college with his City and Guilds and Advanced Craft certificates way back in 1980's and accruing even further knowledge in the building industry, Glyn has taken and used his skills on some of the most superior buildings the country has to offer. For ten years Glyn worked around the British isles on various projects which ranged from new house developments, housing associations, commercial properties, listed buildings and historic dwellings of the upmost charm and character.
Prestigious contracts in and around London were won and carried out by Glyn on such places as the British Library, the Princes Diana Memorial, the estates of Windsor castle plus numerous embassies and homes of TV personalities. Away from the capital Glyn has carried out work at Glyndebourne opera house, the home of the famous British composer Edward Elgar, Blackpool's Tower World and many others.
More recently and a bit closer to home, Glyn had the good fortune to help refurbish many of Age UK's Derbyshire outlets and in doing so has forged strong links with the charity.

Glyn founded Duffield Decorators in 2008 on the foundation of many years experience in many fields of the building industry, from apprentice, to management, from painting and decorating to brick and stone restoration. He has dealt with all the major nationwide building contractors and developers and still his aim is the same, to offer an outstanding and friendly service at an affordable price.

Duffield Decorators are available local and nationwide, fitting in with customers needs with evening work, unsociable hours, holiday periods and weekends.
Hassle free maintenance contracts as well as insurance claims for domestic customers and businesses are also expertly undertaken.

As a business, we will always maintain a personal touch along with a polite manner, a willingness to help and advise and a very easy going nature.
